Hardwood Windows

The main reason why so many people decide to go for hardwood windows is the fact that hardwood windows last many years longer than normal wood windows. If you plan make your house a true home and stay for a number of years then hardwood windows will easily be worth the extra investment. I say investment as your hardwood windows will still be looking as beautiful in 10 years time as the first day you had your hardwood windows fitted.

The second reason that people go for hardwood windows is the fact that the strength of the hardwood used in hardwood windows gives them such a beautiful texture and finish. The quality of hardwood windows really does outshine that of lesser wood windows.

Security Of Hardwood Windows

Arched Hardwood Window

To provide maximum security all of our hardwood windows and hardwood doors use multi point internal locking mechanisms and window handles have a key facility to lock in either a fully closed position or vented position.

Hardwood doors also have hook bolts which engage in the frame and high security insurance approved locks.

The hardwood window frames are fully weather proofed using Espagnolette locking mechanisms and stainless sliding friction hinges. This allows the closing frame to be fully clamped into the weather proof seal, this seal is rebated into the rear of the main frame.

To make sure your hardwood windows are also doing their bit for heat saving efficiency all of our hardwood windows are K-glass double glazed and manufactured to the highest standard.
