Bespoke Joinery
We produce an extensive range of bespoke joinery products all crafted at our joinery manufacturer workshop in Sheffield by our own highly skilled joinery carpenters.
These include staircases with turned or plain features, individual bespoke joinery to match existing timber joinery, or the design and manufacture to a customer's individual joinery and carpentry specifications. Our dedicated team of joinery specialist will advise on style and finish, and have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of joinery to comply with listed building requirements.
Above is a superbly crafted bespoke carpentry staircase and gallery manufactured in hardwood and fitted in a beautiful crucked barn conversion. This custom made carpentry staircase was designed by our joinery specialists and required a high level of carpentry skill to craft the perfect finish.
These are a pair of bespoke internal glazed doors, manufactured in hardwood and stained to match existing bespoke joinery in the crucked barn conversion.
This was a fairly small woodwork project but the timber joinery was required to match the rest of the custom joinery in the house, which again required specialist carpentry skill.
Our bespoke joinery is finished utilising the renowned 'Sikkens' protective coating system. This comprises our standard 3 coat application, forming a flexible protective barrier over the woodwork.
Popular shade stains on hardwood and softwood joinery include Light Oak & Dark Oak, Teak, Mahogany and Walnut. Paint colours include White, Cream, Light & Dark Green, Tan and Teal Blue. We can match to any RAI or BS colours.
Shown in the picture is a wooden bespoke wardrobe, manufactured to occupy a recess around the crucked barn construction.
Wooden Windows like the hardwood windows shown in the background of the joinery photo are also a speciality of Firths Manufacturing.
The bespoke joinery in this photos shows a wooden staircase and custom made door with bespoke window joinery.
The hardwood windows in this photo are also wooden double glazed and the custom made staircase has stain finish on it.
The joinery and carpentry throughout the house is a perfect match, which gives the house a beautiful warm glow.
